I will recommend ur hotel to my family and friends.i would come again....
Very well located specially if you wish to visit the Galleria Borghese. Very nice environment near the Park. Surprisingly quiet even if located on Via Veneto. (My room gave on the courtyard.)
There is no breakfast room. The "hotel" is located on the second floor of a residential/ office building Do not be scared away by the entrance.... The hotel is much better... There is no breakfast room. You can either have breakfast in your room, which is fine for a solo traveller, (but would not be for a couple) or have it at the cafe downstairs.
great place to stay in an amazing city... just enough distance from the very heart of the city to escape the noise and tourists ;-), but close enough to see all the sights in no time at all.
Breakfast was fine but wasn't great,
it feels like home, very central, the staff very helppful
the only complaint is the rooms next to the reception are relatively noisy.if possible avoid them
Fabulous location, such a beautiful room!!!
The welcome was very warm, the room was kept spotless, facilities inclusing free internet access were excellent, the location outstanding. The breakfast at Cafe Strega was a pleasure.
The rooms are a little small for the money (but I was in room XS, others may be larger). It is like living in a house, so some awareness/tolerance of noise from other occupants is required.
Reasonable location in terms of walking to attractions. However, Via Veneto is an expensive area, more so that other areas near by.
To sum up - over priced and average. Very much like the area the 'hotel' resides in. Breakfast was the poorest we have had in a long time. It got progressively worse each day. Not the freshest of foods and the toast and coffee we served cold each day. Staff are satisfactory, nothing more. They will tend to your needs but would it really hurt to do it with a hint of joy? Hotel is over priced for what you get. Rooms are smaller than they appear in professional pictures.
Good location. Close to the underground stations and the bus stops in front of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and nice modern decorated and clean rooms. Good WiFi-connection. Breakfast was ok and typical italian with a sweet cornetto.
The rooms at the front are a bit noisy. After 2 nights they let me change my room for a room at the back of the hotel cause I prefer to sleep with the window open. That was very kind.
I have been raving about it to friends as well as travel agents. The staff were great, helpful and informative. I love the location since the Borghese museum is my favorite museum ever. It was also very convenient to walk to many other points of interest. We would definately stay there again!
I would have liked to have hair conditioner as well as the shampoo in the rooms. Traveling lightly I ran out before I got there.
The staff was friendly and the décor is nice, but it was not enough to compensate for the negative aspects of this place. Firstly, this is not really a hotel, I would qualify it as a bed & breakfast. There are no breakfast facilities in the "hotel", but you can order a breakfast directly to your room or you can go to the restaurant next door. I chose this option and the breakfast in the restaurant Strega was very poor - the breakfast "Classico" only includes one cup of coffee, half a glass of orange juice, one piece of toast and a croissant-type Italian pastry. A second cup of coffee costs you 6 euros ! This is exaggerated for a breakfast. There is ABSOLUTELY NO soundproofing inside the "hotel" - you can hear what is being said in the reception and in the rooms near you and as the floor is covered with marble, every time someone walks in the corridor, there is a really loud noise. So if you have any kind of sleeping difficulties - avoid this place. Thirdly, the mattress was stone hard. Also the location is not ideal. Although Via Veneto is a very chic street, it is slightly too far away from the historical centre of Rome. If you have been walking around all day, you don't want to walk all the way back to downtown in the evening.
We stayed at the Residenza upon our arrival to Rome and also on our departure from Rome, so we had the opportunity to stay in 2 different rooms. The location of the hotel was right next to the park and metro which was perfect for us. The rooms were large and clean. We preferred the view from our first room which looked out onto the street but was a little noisy. Our second room looked out into an empty courtyard but was very quiet.
Fantastic!! Great atmosphere, great in every way! Huge rooms, efficient service (in 5 minutes I’ve got my segway tour ready in Piazza del Popolo), good bus connections (about 50 meters around). Breakfast is magnificent, more than satisfactory. If someday I come back to Rome it will be my accommodation without any doubt
Although the room was not as big as the ones we know in America, it was quite appropriate for the two nights we spent. Every staff member went beyond the call of duty to help with problems. Breakfast was nicely presented and brought to our room at the requested time. Linen was changed every day. Via Veneto is a great location, close to major attractions, by foot or by taxi. We found Romans delightful.
Excelent location, very good staff. i recommended to every one
La Residenza is located in the most luxure and fine street of rome, other hotel with this quality on that location could cost you doble, is awesome the staff is very friendly and helpful, there is a personal computer in the rooms where you can browse emails edit documents print and etc, very helpful, would stay again no matter what.
